Saffron Absheron

On an autumn morning, delicate blue flowers begin to bloom. At their centre are three tiny red stigmas - saffron, one of the world’s most mythical and precious spices.

The fragrance draws on saffron’s long history and the craftsmanship still required to produce it. Each flower is picked and processed by hand, giving the raw material an almost ceremonial character.

The result is a warm, spicy and captivating scent with an almost ancient quality. Familiar yet difficult to define – as if the aroma of saffron carries traces of centuries of travel, trade and ritual.
